Our 10 year old daughter Maya was diagnosed with Lupus earlier this year and we are still coming to terms with all the changes this has led to. We're so grateful for the support we've already received and will continue to need for the rest of her life.

I've always wanted to run the London Marathon and finally have a reason and purpose to make the effort worth it. We would all be so grateful for any and all donations no matter the amount. Your support will go to an amazing cause and help keep me going through the cold, dark, wet winter months!

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease where the immune system is dysfunctional and mistakenly identifies the body’s own tissues as foreign invaders, causing inflammation and damage to the body and organs.

Lupus UK is the only national registered charity supporting people with lupus and assisting those approaching diagnosis. The charity offers free information, resources and medical talks, regional support groups across the UK, an online forum with over 32,000 members, a grant program for research and welfare, and more.
