Story
This August, our team from Stonegate sites will be taking on a meaningful challenge to raise money for CALM, Campaign Against Living Miserably.
From the 7th of August, we will be running the length of Hadrian’s Wall, starting in Bowness on Solway and finishing in Tynemouth. We will complete the route over two days, pushing ourselves both physically and mentally in support of a cause that matters to us all.
Why We’re Doing This
CALM is a vital charity working to prevent suicide and support those struggling with mental health. They provide life saving services including a free helpline and webchat, offering support to anyone who needs it.
Mental health affects people across all walks of life, including friends, family and colleagues. We believe it is important to raise awareness, challenge stigma and support organisations like CALM that are making a real difference every day.
The Challenge
Route: Bowness on Solway to Tynemouth
Dates: 7th to 8th August
Distance: approximately 84 miles across two days
Team: Stonegate colleagues coming together in support of CALM
This will be a tough challenge, with long distances, varied terrain and very tired legs, but we are committed to completing it together.
