London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

In 2025, Cure Leukaemia will field a team of inspiring runners that will be taking on the TCS London Marathon to help raise vital funds for blood cancer patients across the UK.

Story

In November 2019, we lost our little sister Grace to Leukemia. After a difficult 6 week battle, she lost her life tragically early aged 13. She was an extra special soul born with Downs Syndrome, who lived a life full of love and made fantastic memories with all of those who met her! The staff at Addenbrookes Hospital were amazing and we're so supportive to us... Especially our Mum!

5 years on from her passing, I believe that now is the time for me to do my part in helping the fight against this horrible cancer. Every penny raised will be utilized in the ongoing fight to stop people losing their lives daily.

So in April, 2025 I will be taking in the London Marathon. A big challenge for me, but one that I have endless motivation to drive me forward in my training.

Thank you ever so much for your support! It means the world to us all ❤️

Cure Leukaemia helps blood cancer patients to access pioneering drug and transplant treatments by funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK. Without these nurses, to ensure patients are monitored and cared for, clinical trials of these new treatments would not run and patients, that have exhausted standard treatment options, would miss out on potentially lifesaving therapies. Every penny raised for Cure Leukaemia helps save lives and also hastens global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.
