Story

I have recently signed up for my 2nd Kick4Life All Stars Project, which is taking place in Lesotho, Southern Africa in February 2028.

The charity Kick4Life has been active since 2005, set up by a good friend of mine and his brother.

Their main aim of the charity is to change the lives and long-term prospects of vulnerable young people in Lesotho, through a wide range of social development activities focused on health, education and support towards sustainable livelihoods.

Lesotho is a beautiful country with a rich history and culture, but unfortunately it has the worlds second highest prevalence of HIV (23.2%) and more than 160,000 children have been orphaned.

The charity uses its passion for football to address these issues, helping young people to stay healthy, achieve their potential and contribute to the sustainable development of their country.

I attended the tour in 2024 , and instantly fell in love with the charity, Lesotho and its people with beautiful souls.

To see the whole process in operation, how the charity runs on a day to day basis was massively inspiring, so many people doing selfless, wonderful things all for the common good.

At the time, the Stadium of Life project was well into its construction, and on target to become the worlds first sustainable infrastructure for a football arena. Our tour team helped out for one of our days there by painting containers to do our bit for this project!

I am really excited to see the progress that the charity has made since the last tour I attended, and it fills me with joy to be given the chance to once again to deliver HIV awareness, health, education and life skills sessions to the children at their respective schools.

In 2024 we visited 3 schools to deliver these sessions, and it'll be lovely to see the progress that has been made with the financial aid that Kick4life provides, which helps to give the pupils attending all they need for a good education and start in life.

If you've read this far I thank you for your time, anything you can donate would be massively appreciated.
