Story
To celebrate my mid-life crisis, I've decided to run 26.2 miles before my 50th birthday in 2026... and I'm doing it for an amazing cause - the NSPCC.
Please give whatever you are able to this amazing charity... but if you were able to sponsor me £1 per mile your donation could pay for 4 schools to have NSPCC 'Buddy kits', so children can take home a fun reminder of how to Speak Out, Stay Safe.
I was lucky enough to be adopted at birth by a fantastic family and given a safe and loving environment in which to grow up... but many children are not so lucky... The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse.
If I raise enough, then I won't need get out the orange spandex again! Thank you. Russ
