Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

Upon reading about other folks journeys around the UK coast line, I thought I'd complete the same journey but-in an anti clock wise direction. And raise vital funds as I go along. I won’t be walking up Estrays as this will cut a lot of years off of my walk. I’ll be crossing at the nearest crossing point and sticking to the coast ie cliffs beaches and headlands as much as possible. My aim is to circumnavigate the UK and some not all of her Islands. As many as are accessible by transport. After this I’ll be returning to work.

As a former Soldier of the British Army I feel a great need to achieve this and help those less fortunate than others. I hope we continue to smash the fundraising and raise awareness that just because war ends, for some its never really over. You can follow me on my facebook page also Russ walks the UK Anticlockwise as I circumnavigate the UK coastline. Our great country.

So Please join me on my journey as we raise vital funds to support serving men and women, veterans and families who will call on SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity for help in time of need.
