Story
My Dad Stuart lost his battle with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia on the 5th of January 2024. After his diagnosis he spent much of 2023 in the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre where he was treated with amazing care and compassion throughout. The work that all of the staff do at the centre was and continues to be much appreciated by myself, my family and many others across Central Scotland.
In memory of my Dad and to do my part to help support the Beatson Cancer Charity. This Father’s Day (16th June 2024) I will be taking part in the Glasgow Men's 10K run.
Let me tell you, I'm no runner... and so I’ve embarked on a couch to 10k program to help prepare me for the run, I’ll post progress updates as I go.
Thank you for all of your support,
Russell
