Here’s my story (well my Mum’s as she’s the real hero in all this!) and why I would kindly ask you to donate to such a meaningful cause…

Ovarian Cancer Action Trust is very close to my heart following my mum being diagnosed with ovarian cancer in early 2024. A determined and high spirited woman, she wasn’t going to let it get the better of her, and pleased to say she is now in remission following 6 rounds of chemo and what seemed endless pain.

She is one of the lucky ones as sadly far too many women die of ovarian cancer each year, approx. 4,100 and is the 6th most common cause of cancer death in the UK, yet significantly underfunded.
