Yorkshire Three Peaks Cyclo-Cross Challenge · 29 September 2024

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Hello everyone!

This year, I am taking on the iconic challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks Cyclo-Cross race, known as the toughest cyclo-cross event in the UK. Covering 61 km of gruelling terrain, including the peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside, and Pen-y-Ghent, it's the first race I’ve entered where it is made mandatory to carry a survival bag so I guess it’s not for the feint hearted.

I am doing this to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association in combination of the efforts from the wider UK IT Leaders Community. MND is a devastating condition that affects the brain and nerves, and there is currently no cure. The MND Association provides vital support to those affected and funds crucial research to find a cure.

Your support can make a huge difference. Every donation, no matter how small, will help the MND Association continue their incredible work. Please consider sponsoring my challenge and helping to make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by MND.

Thank you for your generosity and support!
