Story
On Saturday 9 September, I will be climbing up 42 floors (over 1000 steps) the Cheesegrater (The Leadenhall Building, London), then abseiling 200m down the outside...!
I'm proud to be joining Team Tommy's in the London Landmarks Skyscraper Challenge to support Tommy's continue their vital work saving babies' lives.
Tommy's fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and provide pregnancy health information to parents. They believe it is unacceptable that one in four women lose a baby during pregnancy and birth. They want every parent to have the best possible pregnancy outcomes. Please support me to take on this world first challenge, owned and organised by Tommy's.
To give you an idea of the impact of your donation:
£100 could fund a scientist, at one of our ground-breaking research centres, for a day. [RESEARCH :D]
£1,000 could help fund Tommy's Net for 6 months, which is a database where we gather clinical trial results to identify risk factors and develop better care for parents. [TRIALS :D]
£3,000 could pay for 12 consultation sessions with Prof Alex Heazell, Director of our Stillbirth Research Centre in Manchester.
Thank you!
Ruth
