We are challenging ourselves to knit or crochet throughout March, sponsored by our friends and families.

We each have our own challenge - to knit or crochet a whole garment, to finish a project, to knit or crochet for a certain amount of time each day, even to learn to knit or crochet! In my case, I am actually trying to complete a cross stitch I suspect I started @ 20 years ago! Some of us, with arthritic conditions affecting the hands (as I do), will find this very challenging indeed, so please support us.

Around 10 million people in the UK are thought to have arthritis. It can affect people of all ages – even children and teenagers. Some forms of arthritis are more common in older people.

Research funded by Versus Arthritis has made life-changing breakthroughs and improved the lives of millions of people living with arthritis. The Charity also provides information on the website and the helpline for people living with arthritis . I am a volunteer for the North Hampshire support group.
