I will be running the Hackney Half Marathon this year for Frontline, England’s largest Social Work charity.

For those who don’t know (probably very few) I have completed my training with Frontline and I am now a Registered Social Worker. Frontline is continuing to support me towards gaining my Master’s degree in Social Work.

Frontline taught me how to deal with the challenges of being a Child Protection Social Worker, and in turn has helped vulnerable children and families.

I work in Hertfordshire, but there are families all over the country who are in desperate need of support. Frontline makes life better for children who need a social worker, to help keep them safe from harm and to give them every possible chance to fulfil their potential. If you donate towards my half marathon attempt all proceeds will go to Frontline.

I never thought that I’d become a Social Worker, or be attempting to run a half marathon, but Frontline does wonderful things!
