If braving the festive crowds to shop isn’t your thing, then you can still help out by giving a cash donation to our Christmas Appeal.

This Christmas, we're helping our local charity, Home-Start Stirling, by collecting 100 Christmas selections boxes. Every Christmas they run an event for the families and children that they support and this year have decided that each child who attends the event will be presented with a selection box as a gift from Santa.

Want to spread extra Christmas joy? We'll also be collecting toiletry gift set for lone parents as that is often the only the present they will receive.

Home-Start Stirling is an established charity that has been in operation since 2000. Over this time, we have grown to a staff team of 6 and a volunteer team of 27. We support families who have a child under the age of five who are experiencing challenges. In line with ‘The Promise’ our support can be extended to those with a child under 8 years, to enable families to be re-referred into our service. Using a flexible, relationship-based approach we build confidence in parents and carers to enable them to provide their children with the very best start in life. We respond to each family’s individual needs through our services of home-visiting and group work. We provide practical and emotional support within families’ homes to reduce barriers to engagement. We take an early intervention and preventative approach, as we know that support in the earliest years makes the biggest impact.
