On the 3rd and 4th October Glasgow University will be running its second Giving Day, an opportunity for the whole University community to come together and help raise crucial funds for essential areas such as Student Support, Student Experience and Global Health.

As an alumni myself, I was lucky enough to have access to a Glasgow education and all the opportunities that came with it. But not all are so lucky. So, on Friday the 4th October, along with other brave ‘soles’, and dressed as a lion, I will be putting my best paw forward to complete the Giving Day Lego Walk in support of Student Scholarships.

Every painful step symbolizes the challenges that many students face in pursuing their education. By donating, you're helping to "mane-tain" their courage and "purr-sistence," helping them "LEGO" of their financial worries and follow their dreams. Any donations would be grrrrrrrreatly welcomed and help make the event a roaring success!
