Third Space Ministries takes the love of God from the church and into the community, through nightclubs, Wimbledon tennis queues, coffee shops and leisure centres.

I'm aiming to raise money for this amazing charity by attempting the Polar Bear swimming challenge at Antarctic level. What this means is swimming outside from beginning of November to end of March, wearing only a swimsuit and cap and reaching a total of 3,000m each month. I love swimming outside and I love what Third Space does. This seems a great way to combine the two.

I'll be doing this in the Serpentine lake in Hyde Park, pictured above. I have many swimming companions here. Some are human, some are fowl. Most are pleasant but swimmer always gives way to swan! Making the swims always interesting.
