Story
I am running Cambridge Half Marathon as a potato or a parsnip or a tomato (decisions decisions) Whatever it is it will be a vegetable or fruit in honour of Cultivating Change. It is a UK charity engaging communities through gardening & growing to support mental health.
This is in memory of Dad. He was a great runner and he loved potatoes, so it feels fitting. It is one step on the way to The London Marathon 2026 which will take place on his Birthday Weekend this April.
Cultivating Change, believe that growing and gardening can transform lives. From boosting mental health to building stronger communities, the simple act of nurturing a seed can create profound change - and that’s where our journey begins.
They provide seed donations, growing workshops, community days, assemblies and resources to empower & engage people in gardening activities promoting life-long habits to foster wellbeing.
