So……. I seem to have got myself included in the BHS Charity Raceday at Newbury on the 9th November. Let’s call it a bucket list type of things to do or it is just plain madness….?!?? Any which way - I am looking forward to it - bring the challenge on!!!

I need to raise some money for this so will be looking for donations from my good friends - will also look at holding a fund-raising do in a shed maybe 💃🕺🏼🍺🍾🍹

Here is a snippet of the good work that the BHS does for what I think is the most beautiful animal on this world:

Horse Welfare: The BHS responds to over 6,000 welfare cases each year, but there are a thousand more in need of help. We work hard to promote the prevention of neglect, cruelty and harm to horses and provide support, advice and education to horse owners to try and remedy problems before they become too serious.

Future Generations: Horses have a powerful way of inspiring disengaged young people to reconnect with society. Our Changing Lives through Horses programme aims to improve the lives of disengaged young people and give them the opportunity to develop skills that enable them to return to education and/or employment.
