As a family we are taking part in the Twilight Walk in memory of our much loved Wife, Mum and Nana, Anne McLaughlin.

Anne was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis in 2023, a disease she faced with great strength and fortitude. As her condition deteriorated last summer, she was cared for by Marie Curie staff, initially at home and then in the hospice. She received exemplary care and we really appreciated the support they gave to us a family.

Marie Curie nurses, doctors and frontline staff work night and day in our Belfast Hospice and in peoples homes right across Northern Ireland providing expert clinical care for patients and much needed respite, comfort and reassurance for families, carers and loved ones.

The money that is raised helps Marie Curie Nurses provide vital care and support to people with terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

£23 could pay for one hour of vital nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness in the comfort of their own home

£92 could help fund four hours of nursing care in a person's home when they need it most.
