On Tuesday 10th October 2023, our Community Allotment group members will be marking World Homeless Day with a 'Sleep Out' on the community site.

This is not an attempt to belittle the experience of rough sleeping; it is a respectful acknowledgement of the issue. Many of us at Our Community Allotment have lived experience of homelessness and sleeping outdoors.

On the night, group members will cook our dinner on the fire and some of us will sleep over night in tents.

Each member of the group who sleeps out will be individually requesting sponsorship with paper forms but here you can donate directly. All proceeds will go to our allotment project's ongoing costs including site rent and our annual winter/ xmas dinner celebration.
