Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page in support of Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS).

So here it goes! Training for a Marathon! I am not normally one for being in the limelight, so raising money is something that scares me slightly! Also i know some people will think i'm a right pain in the a**e for asking for another charitable donation! 🤣

I am super happy and excited to be able to run for KSS. For anyone who already knows the Charity, they will be fully aware of the amazing work KSS carry out. For those who don't, I will do my best to give you an idea of how amazing they are.

So for those who don't know, I am a Police officer with Sussex Police. throughout my time as a Police officer, I have attended several incidents where KSS have played a massive role. The incidents are generally traumatic and highly emotional. Having KSS in a position to support other emergency services in these types of incidents is quite frankly a god send! However they can only carry on doing this with the help of amazing people who donate.

I am personally running for KSS following a traumatic Road Traffic Collision I attended whilst off duty. I won't go in to detail but its an incident which challenged me and had an unexpected adverse effect on my mental health. I actually turned to running to address this issue and it has helped SOOOOO MUCH!

As well as the support KSS provide emergency services, they are there to help people in urgent medical need. KSS not only support the victim but the whole network of family and friends who benefit from the service they provide. THEY ARE TRULY AMAZING AND YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW WHEN YOU MIGHT NEED THEM!!

I could waffle on for ages but i will leave it at that.
