Story
As regional partnership of Horatio’s Garden Wales, we’re thrilled to our provide our support and take part in the Reach a Peak Challenge on 19 April 2026. 10 members of our Compensation Protection Unit will be climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in the hope to raise vital funds and awareness to Horatio's Garden.
The Welsh garden is located at the Welsh Spinal Cord Injury and Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in University Hospital Llandough.
The garden is a sanctuary for patients, providing hope during the rehabilitation process and the opportunity to access nature within the hospital setting and to meet with family off the ward. The range of therapeutic activities enjoyed in the garden and the greenhouse is a vital and welcomed haven for patients at the specialist spinal injury centre for Wales. We have already been fortunate enough to volunteer in the garden, and we are looking forward to reaching the summit and fundraising for Horatio’s Garden.
