Ryan died at the age of 24 following a short battle with cancer. 4 months and 7 days from diagnosis to the day he passed to be precise. Ryan died on the 16th December 2021 at Eden Valley Hospice.

The staff at Eden Valley Hospice were so kind and caring during the three days that Ryan was there. I know all of the staff were upset when Ryan died. The staff not only provided cared for Ryan but also us, his family, and this care and kindness continues.

The care provided at Eden Valley Hospice is completely free of charge for those who need access to it. However, it costs over £450 per hour to deliver this care, and as a local charity, the hospice have to fund the first £350.
