Hello,

John Thomson was a Coastguard Rescue Officer in Dundee, when he died on October 2024. He was a deeply loved and admired member of our coastguard family, and we continue to miss him dearly. As we approach a year since his passing, his Dundee Team are fundraising for Andy’s Man Club, a men’s suicide prevention charity, at Dundee Kiltwalk 2025.

Andy’s Man Club facilitates groups where men aged 18 and above can speak openly about their issues in a non judgmental environment through shared experiences. Groups run nationwide every Monday 7pm except bank holidays and are completely volunteer-led with no charge to any man.
