Over the summer im going to be running to raise money for Hamish Dear’s Warm hugs. Starting with the Knock hill race 01/06/24, Dundee half marathon 14/07/24, Nairn highland games half marathon 17/08/24, finishing with the Loch Ness marathon 29/09/24. I’ll also challenge myself to run 200km in total between each event.

Hamish Dear’s Warm Hugs was launched in May 2016, to keep children smiling through their toughest battles. The charity was set up by friends of ours in memory of their son Hamish who passed away aged 3 years, following a 9 month battle with Neuroblastoma. The local charity provides financial assistance to children with a cancer diagnosis in across hospitals in Scotland by providing opportunities for days out, gifts and funding towards short breaks.
