Support Ex Ouston Top Of The World (Ex OTOTW) - Pole to Everest: - Climbing for a Cause!
Join us in an extraordinary challenge as we embark on Pole to Everest, a charity event dedicated to climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest—8,848 meters—using telegraph poles! On June 21, 2025, over 50 dedicated military personnel and veterans will come together at the Pole Field, Cable Systems Department (CSD), Blandford Camp, to take on this ambitious feat.
Our goal? To raise vital financial support for the Royal Signals Charity (RSC), an organisation that plays a crucial role in supporting our military community. Each participating climber is asked to contribute a voluntary entry donation, helping us make a significant impact while also promoting the remarkable opportunities within the CIE trade group, encompassing both Regular and Reservist personnel.
Ex OTOTW is not just about the climb; it's about fostering teamwork and leadership among participants. With 16 teams made up of Installation Technicians, Phase 2 trainees, Permanent Staff, and veteran Mechs/Inst Techs/CIEs, this event will challenge us physically and mentally, strengthening bonds and encouraging camaraderie.
Your support can make a difference! By donating, you're not only helping us reach our fundraising target but also contributing to a community that values resilience and teamwork. Every pound raised will go directly to the RSC, ensuring that we can continue to support our fellow service members and their families. Let's come together to scale new heights for a worthy cause. Join us in making Pole to Everest a success! Whether you choose to donate or support a climber, your involvement matters. Together, we can achieve greatness—one pole at a time! Thank you for your generosity and support!
