Story
I am proud to be participating in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 11 October 2026 to support the incredible charity, Wellbeing of Women. Women’s health remains criminally underfunded and under-researched, with life-altering conditions like Endometriosis—which affects as many women as diabetes—receiving only a tiny fraction of the research investment they deserve. This is why I am running: to help shine a light on these often overlooked issues and to stand with women who too often feel unheard or unsupported.
Wellbeing of Women is dedicated to ensuring that no woman’s life is limited by her gynaecological and reproductive health. They invest in world-class research, champion education, raise awareness, and tackle the taboos surrounding women’s health. Their work influences guidelines, policy, and practice while empowering women to advocate for themselves. Their research spans a woman’s entire life course—from period problems and pregnancy complications like preterm birth to gynaecological cancers and menopause.
I invite you to join me in supporting this vital cause by donating towards my fundraising target of £400. Every contribution brings us closer to a future where women receive the care, respect, and attention they deserve. Together, we can make a difference—help me cross the finish line knowing we’ve made a small different.
