10,000 steps a day for April

Take 10,000 steps a day for a month and help improve research, treatment and practical support for children and young people living with epilepsy. Together we create possible.

Story

This month, members of Plymouth storm Cheerleading have decided to complete the 10,000 steps a day challenge in support of young epilepsy.

"In March 2023, I lost my close friend Charlotte Fox who had epilepsy. Charlotte was a childhood friend from my home town, and was also studying at Plymouth University when she suddenly passed away at just 19 years old.

I would like to raise money in her memory and help create awareness for this condition.

She was taken too early but her life will forever have made an impact on me, her loved ones and everyone around her, who will always remember her fondly.

I would like to make an impact in her honour, to help improve the research, treatment and the support of epilepsy that this charity can provide with our donations <3 " ~ Lucy Walker
