THE CHRISTIE FUNDRAISER 💙

We have wanted to do something for a while now, something to give back — to raise funds for The Christie and the incredible units that treated Callum (The Palatine Centre – Unit 30).

Many people are aware of my nephew Callum’s story and the journey he has been on since being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma on 13/10/2023. We feel extremely fortunate that he was able to receive the amazing, life-saving treatment at The Christie.

The work they do there is nothing short of incredible — saving and changing lives every single day. Without them Callum simply would not be here today, playing football and enjoying life with his mates, his girlfriend and his family 💙

That’s why we say we are the lucky ones. It’s something we will never take for granted and the reason we want to give something back 💙💙

Therefore on Easter Saturday, 4th April, we are planning a sponsored walk from Wigan Pier to Southport Pier.

This walk is 20.6 miles and will take between circa 8 hours to complete.

We are therefore after recruits to join the walkers!! 🚶🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Anyone up for a long walk? 😅 Please let us know! It’s going to be a challenge but we are really looking forward to it and it’s for a great cause.
