Stroke and it’s after effects have been a reality for those I love and care about this past few months and as a family they have experienced the devastation this causes so I felt this was a very worthy cause. Through the work of the NHS, the Physiotherapists and the Stroke association we are now seeing positive improvements. Any awareness and funds I can raise will help other families who are also experiencing such difficult times.
When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
