I'm super excited to join Derby County Community Trust on the adventure of a lifetime, helping children in Kenya to get the most from their education.

This will be the furthest I've travelled from home, and the longest I've been away, but it'll be worth it!

To make sure I can go, I need to raise £2,800 and I'll be doing lots of fundraising activities.

In January, I'll be joining the Stadium Sleep Out at Pride Park, sleeping overnight with my fellow travellers.

Then in March, I'll be jumping out of a plane on a sponsored skydive!

Volunteers are travelling to Nakuru in May 2025 to spend time at partner schools in a developing area of the country.

In partnership with Derby County Community Trust and African Adventures, we will work in schools who provide a free education for children from underprivileged backgrounds.

Working in a range of roles from teaching, sports coaching, or building and renovation, we will undoubtedly make a difference and learn so much about the wider world.
