The foundation was set up in memory of Michael who died age 20, his positive attitude towards life inspired many people and it was this drive that encouraged us to raise awareness and valuable funds to support people with type 1 diabetes.

The ultimate goal is to find a cure but while the search goes on we will support educate and look to fund the technology advancements that can provide a better quality of life to all diabetics.

Michael was type 1 diabetic since the age of 4 and died to a relatively rare complication DIB, #livelikemike

Michael was a close friend from school who was great to be around so it’s only fitting that while running I try to raise some money for a great cause!
