Story
In November 2023, the Ferguson family lost a much loved member. Our Annie. After a short but poignant battle with lung cancer.
Anne had a great thirst for life and a unique love of running, in ode to her amazing memory I will be running the marathon in some sort of leopard print clothing (which was her favourite).
The void which has been left in our lives by her passing can only be described as colossal and we miss her incredibly on the daily. This is the second fundraising event in Anne’s memory as 6/5/24 a team selected by Anne’s Son Ryan Ferguson managed to raise a total of £4,790 for Marie curie. As we didn’t quite reach the £5000 mark, the target this time is £210 to get us over the line.
I am running for Marie Curie Hospice Belfast as the support given to Anne and all of her family was second to none. The nurses and doctors within the hospice really are living angels.
Please donate anything you can for such a worthy cause. In memory of not only Anne, but of all cancer sufferers helped by the hospice.
They require £6,150 per day to run the hospice, so every penny counts. Thank you for helping to make sure more people with a terminal illness in and around Belfast, get the care and support they need.
