Ronald McDonald House Charities UK is an independent charity providing free 'home away from home’ accommodation for families with children in hospital. Thanks to the fundraising, donations and volunteering of supporters, we have helped nearly 50,000 families in our 30 year history.

Story

The Ryan Millns Breakfast Show and Ashdown Radio are raising funds for 18 month old Esme, who was born with Hirschsprung’s disease, which is a very rare condition.

Since birth, Esme has spent a significant amount of time in hospital.

During that time, Ronald McDonald House Charities were there for the whole family.

They gave them somewhere to stay which allowed them to be close to Esme when she needed it most.

They also gave them comfort, support, and a sense of normality in the middle of uncertainty. Even now, they continue to support them whenever hospital stays are needed.

Because of this, we are helping Esme's family give something back to this incredible charity!

They have seen first-hand the difference they make, for so many people going through incredibly difficult times.

Ashdown Radio Director and Breakfast Show presenter, Ryan Millns will be presenting a marathon 27 hour show on 94.7 & 105FM across East Sussex.

During the broadcast, he will be joined by local families who will be telling there story on how Ronald McDonald House Charites have supported them.

The radio show will be LIVE from 7am on Thursday 28th May through until 10am on Friday 29th May.
