Story
This summer, a group of passionate Red Equipment ambassadors are embarking on a series of endurance stand-up paddleboarding challenges, sharing the joy and freedom that paddling brings. Supported generously by Red Equipment with top quality gear, we're each tackling multi-day journeys that celebrate our precious blue spaces, and inspiring others to discover their own happy place by the water along the way.
For my part, I've chosen to take on a personal quest that's been on my mind for a while: paddleboarding the entire non-tidal Thames, solo and self-supported. From Lechlade all the way down to Richmond via Teddington, I'll be passing through notable towns including Oxford, Abingdon, Wallingford, Reading, Henley, and Windsor, navigating dozens of locks along the way. It's not just a test of endurance for me, it's a chance to give something back to the waterways that have given me so much.
I'm raising money for the Canal & River Trust, a charity that works tirelessly to protect and enhance our canals and rivers, so these blue spaces can keep bringing joy and adventure to people for generations to come.
If you're able to, I'd really appreciate your support. Every donation helps push me through those long days on the water, and helps keep our waterways cared for. Thank you for being part of the journey.
