Our #FightingForce Team are taking on the world's greatest half marathon to help find a cure for brain tumours.

Story

Running my first GNR in aid of a charity that, sadly, is now close to our hearts following the devastating loss of our Angel Zoe, just 7 weeks after being diagnosed with this wretched disease.

On October 19th I am also running the York Marathon (my first attempt at a marathon) and will keep this page open until 31st October for any donations for both events. Both are to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research.

There has been no progress in NHS treatment of brain tumours in 20 years and yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002!!!

They are the biggest cancer killer of people under the age of 40. As a result brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer

One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
