Story
Soon our incredible team of runners and crew will be travelling to the USA to take part in The Speed Project 2024. It’s a 340 mile (550km), non-stop, 48-hour team endurance running event that starts at the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles and finishes at the 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign. We will run day and night and in temperatures as hot as 40 degrees through Death Valley, hopefully avoiding coyotes, scorpions and rattlesnakes in the Mojave Desert! Unsurprisingly, we are not just doing this for fun and are hoping to raise a significant amount of money for a fantastic cause.
We are running to raise money for Nepal Youth Foundation - the race is on to fund critical projects supporting children to remain in school, recover from malnutrition, provide psychological counselling and empower them to transform their own lives and fulfill their beautiful, worthy dreams.
I'm also fundraising in memory of Olga Murray, the beloved founder of Nepal Youth Foundation who passed away in February at the age of 98. She leaves behind a remarkable legacy that implores all of us to strive for justice and be audaciously more compassionate in our acts of service and kindness.
We are so tremendously grateful of your support. Please help us reach our ambitious target of £100,000!
