🏃🏼 Running the Manchester Marathon for Tommy’s – In Memory of Our Little Ones🤍
This April 19th, I’ll be lacing up my trainers and taking on the Manchester Marathon, not just for the challenge, but for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.
I’m running in memory of our two babies who we never got to meet and for my beautiful little niece Aoife who was born sleeping and for the other much loved members of our family & friends who have also experienced the heartbreak of miscarriage. Pregnancy and baby loss is something that touches far more families than we often realise, yet it’s still so hard to talk about.
Tommy’s charity does incredible work funding research into miscarriage, stillbirth, and premature birth and offer vital support to families going through it. They also work in partnership with the SANDS Charity. It’s thanks to charities like this that more babies get the chance to come into the world healthy and safe.
Our own daughter Grace, was born prematurely last year so we know just how important this work is. We are so grateful she’s here today, but we know not every family gets that happy ending.
So, every mile I run will be for those little ones who never got the chance to take their first steps, for the parents navigating grief, and for a future where fewer families have to go through this pain.
If you can spare anything no matter how big or small it would mean the world to me and help Tommy’s continue their life-changing research and support.
Thank you
🤍🤍🤍
