The LTA Team at Ryder Architect are raising money to help Curious Arts host this year's Newcastle Pride.

Curious Arts is an LGBTQIA+ arts, youth and heritage charity, committed to championing LGBTQIA+ creativity and communities across the North East and beyond. Actively working to increase visibility, representation and understanding of LGBTQIA+ culture and lived experience.

Newcastle Pride has faced significant challenges since Curious Arts on custodianship in December 2025 following the closure of the previous charity. While they anticipated a difficult transition, a combination of factors including local election distractions, the cost of living crisis, reduced corporate sponsorship, and rising event and security costs has created substantial financial and operational pressure. Despite these challenges, Curious Arts remain committed to delivering a safe, inclusive, and community-focused Pride celebration, but additional support is now urgently needed to help secure the future of the event.
