PKD Charity - Spring into March 2023: 10km a day in March

10km a day in March · 31 March 2023
I'm raising money for this fantastic charity in memory of a dear friend, Mr Scott Catterall.
Scott was a well loved friend, son, brother and fiancé, and if you speak to anyone that knew him, myself included, you'll know how truly cherished and admired he was.
He would light up any room he walked into and was as funny as he was quick witted. Quite easily he was one of the strongest people I knew, the positivity and kindness he possessed simply cannot be stressed enough.
Scott unfortunately suffered with PKD most of his life and passed away at the age of just 29, which I think we can all agree is no age for anyone to pass away.
For me, this fundraiser is all about honouring Scott's memory, and ensuring that as many people as possible know how amazing he was. In addition it's about raising awareness of the disease and raising money for a truly wonderful charity that does so much for those who suffer with PKD as well as their families:
"PKD can be tough to deal with. Whether newly diagnosed, have lived with PKD for years or care for someone affected, PKD Charity wants people affected to know that they are not alone, they've got us. We offer practical and emotional support and advice to patients and their families from the moment they're diagnosed, through treatment and beyond - on the phone, online and face-to-face." The Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity.
Anything you can spare will be so greatly appreciated by myself, the charity and most certainly Scott's family, thank you for taking the time to read this, have a lovely day! 💖
