Story
A group of 2-6 years old did a charity walk in 2021 raising £3920, those same children then raised £8528 last year. The money was used to help orphans sponsored through the Al-Ayn foundation.
This year they are doing it again for the third consecutive year as they are fully aware of the benefits of the money they collected to those less fortunate children
They plan to climb the peaks of Northala Fields on Saturday 9th September at 9.30 am.
A little bit about the event......
In commemoration of the prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the anniversary of his death, a group of young children will climb the peaks of Northala Fields to raise money for the orphans of Iraq.
They will be using their feet to make a difference to the lives of children just like them but born under very difficult circumstances. By raising money for them, they hope to maximize their chances to unlock their full potential.
All the money raised will be donated to the Al Ayn foundation.
Al-Ayn (UK) has been working since 2013, in collaboration with Al-Ayn (Iraq) to serve over 60,000 orphaned children in poverty from birth and throughout their childhood as well as during their transition into adulthood.
As well as essential monthly financial aid, each child sponsored through Al-Ayn is given access to psychological rehabilitation, medical care, educational support, personal development, vocational training, housing and more.
The kids would love your support on their third charity raising venture and hope to emulate the prophet Muhammad (saw) in ensuring the future of the orphans will be secure in their generation.
