Story
We are taking part in this year's Walk for Myton to help raise vital funds for The Myton Hospices in memory of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunty Nasra.
When Nasra was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer and given only a few weeks to live, she wanted to spend her last days at home with her family. The Myton at Home team were able to provide vital support and care for her and her loved ones at this difficult time. Nasra had spent most of her life caring for others on both a personal and professional level. Not only did she personally support and advocate the importance of The Myton Hospices, in the end it provided the attentive support and personal care that she passionately provided to others.
We know that is a lot of money but with your support, we are confident that we can achieve it!
Every month they need to raise £875,000 to provide their services free of charge to their patients and their families!
We are asking you to show support by sponsoring our Walk to ensure they can continue to provide their services free of charge for the people of Coventry and Warwickshire, now and in the future.
Providing dedicated care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, in their inpatient beds and in the community continues to be their primary focus, and they need to raise £10.5 million this year to do this.
They can't do it without the support of people like me and you!
