Story
After retiring, my Dad, Michael Ward, moved to North Wales to be close to his family. He became an active member of local walking groups and supporting the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation. He was happiest outdoors and loved trekking the mountains of Eryri well into his seventies.
Sadly, Dad suffered from Alzheimer's and vascular dementia in his later years, and he passed away in 2022. I’d like to dedicate this walk—in the countryside he loved—to his memory.
