It didn't take too much convincing to get my mum Sally and my sister Laura to join me on this step challenge, where we aim to collectively walk 1,000,000 steps for Kings College Hospital Charity in the month of July.

Kings College Hospital Charity strives to make a difference to patients and their loved ones at our hospitals by supporting developments that go above and beyond what the NHS provides. They aim to assist in the delivery of a better experience and better results for the people who come to the hospital in a time of need.

It saddens me that we need charities to bridge the gap but these services are so important to our community and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support
