Bantham Swoosh 2027 for Level Water
In June 2027, I'm taking on the 6km Bantham Swoosh in South Devon — an iconic open-water swim through the beautiful Aune Estuary, finishing on Bantham Beach.
I love swimming, but this is a real challenge for me. I've never swum this far before, and training for it will be a bit like preparing for a marathon — except it's in the sea. It's going to take months of training, commitment and a fair amount of determination.
I'm doing it to support Level Water, a charity that provides one-to-one swimming lessons for children with disabilities.
Swimming is something many of us take for granted, but it's an essential life skill. It helps keep us safe, builds confidence and independence, and can be fantastic for mental wellbeing. Every child should have the chance to experience those benefits.
Just £15 pays for one adapted swimming lesson. Your donation will help more children learn to swim, enjoy being in the water and gain skills that can last a lifetime.
If you'd like to support me as I take on my biggest swimming challenge yet, I'd be hugely grateful.
Thank you for your support.
