Hi, I’m Evie, and I’m about to make a BIG SPLASH for a great cause!

I’m 11 years old, and starting on October 12, 2024, I’m taking on the craziest challenge ever: swimming in the sea EVERY SINGLE WEEK FOR A WHOLE YEAR! And guess who’s joining me? My mum! (She’s going to love this… I think!)

We’re doing this to raise money for North Devon Hospice, the amazing people who took care of my nanny before she became a twinkling star in the sky. Our challenge begins on October 12th 2024 and ends on October 12th 2025 - 🏊‍♀️ Why these dates? Because October 12th is my Nannys birthday, and I’m doing this to celebrate her memory.

No matter what the weather throws at us—freezing waves, howling winds, or even snow—we’ll be out there in the sea, splashing around, giggling, and maybe turning into ice cubes! We might even throw on some silly costumes to keep things fun! 🦄🐠🧜‍♀️

Will it be tough? Probably. Will we look ridiculous? Definitely. But we’re doing it all to raise as much money as possible for North Devon Hospice, so they can keep doing their amazing work.
