Thank you for supporting Mitie's fundraising causes

We have one more fantastic challenge for you and hope you can contribute to these greatly admired and worthy charities which we have been supporting for many years.

It all began 9 years ago, to support the Beatson Cancer Charity, who had helped some of our Mitie colleagues through their own personal cancer journeys. These amazing colleagues decided they wanted to give something back, and so through their own time and effort decided to host a charity night in Scotland to help raise much needed funds to keep the charity going. Since then, the annual event has gone from strength to strength raising a whopping £310,462 for various charities thus far.

last years event was the most successful yet raising £54,720 on the night.

So, this year on its 10th anniversary our Dedicated Account Teams are attempting to raise £100,000 to be split between 3 chosen charities, these being Beatson Cancer Charity, NSPCC and Macmillan Cancer Support.

To achieve this the Mitie business has split itself into regional UK teams who will all be taking part in various charity led activities around the country.

Our management team lead by Nick Vaughan has decided to take on a virtual walking challenge along the famous Route 66 in America covering a total of 2246 miles. Our team name is Hilarious Hikers and you can follow our progress at Route 66 (endtoend.events) We are seeking your donations and support along this journey with the hope of exceeding our target of £10,000.

We know you are often asked to help such good causes and may be exhausted by the requests made of you, but these are truly worthy Charities that deserve our every effort to support those in greatest need.
