💛 Dedicated to the Children Whose Lives Are Too Short, but Whose Courage Is Infinite
This December, I’m running the Strathclyde Sport Winter 5K in honour of children across Scotland living with life-shortening conditions.
Many of these children spend their days in hospitals or hospices, facing challenges far greater than anything I’ll meet on the course.
I am running for them —
• for the children who cannot run,
• for the families carrying heartbreak with extraordinary strength,
• and for the hospices that bring light, dignity, and love into the hardest moments.
Children’s hospices are a lifeline — providing specialist care, respite, emotional support, and precious moments of joy and peace.
No child’s life should be measured by its length, but by its love, laughter, and dignity.
Your donation — big or small — makes a real difference:
💛 specialist nursing care
💛 respite for exhausted families
💛 moments of joy and memory-making
💛 support so no family faces the hardest days alone
This run is dedicated to the little heroes whose courage inspires every step I take.
Thank you, from my heart, for helping bring comfort, love, and hope where they are needed most.
Saadia 💛
