Story
Salaam,
As most of you are aware, this time of year leads up to one of the most difficult times of our lives as a family, the day we lost our Ayyub after he succumbed to the complications with medical treatment for leukaemia.
For those that did not know Ayyub, he was a ray of sunshine to brighten anyone’s day. A little boy with so much zest for life that would light up any room he entered, the foodie, inquisitive little cheeky monkey, a true fighter who fought very hard until his little body gave up on him and we lost him on the 7th of December 2023. The little boy that taught me life is too short which eventually led me to relocate to Egypt to follow a dream that I did not think I would ever be able to fulfil - teaching internationally.
In honour of my darling nephew I will be running (yes running 👀) 5K around the Pyramids of Giza to fundraise for an amazing charity that supported us as a family through one of the hardest times of our lives.
I would appreciate if you could donate towards this important cause.
Yubi, I miss you always, my fellow second born that came into this world to cause a storm and sadly leave us so soon. I love you and inshallah I hope to see you again playing in the Gardens of Jannah, kicking a football and splashing water. I miss your infectious laugh and the way you would hug me and give me lots of kisses. Until we meet again my boy, always in my heart.
Your Kuku Sabah 💙
