I never thought I’d be someone who runs a half marathon - although it has been on my bucket list for a good long while!

Right now, I’m starting from small steps again—rebuilding my fitness, showing up, trying to stay consistent. Some days feel strong, some days feel heavy. But I’ve committed to running 13.1 miles in October.

This is not just for me—but for something far bigger than me, and a cause my heart is dedicated to and my soul is passionate about.

I’m running to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians.

Because while I’m training—choosing to push my body, choosing discomfort—there are people in Palestine living through unimaginable conditions they never chose.

Hospitals struggling to function.

Families without access to basic medical care.

Children growing up surrounded by trauma most of us will never truly understand.

And I keep thinking…

If I can push through a difficult run, if I can keep going when my legs feel tired—then surely I can use that effort to support people who don’t get to opt out of their reality.

This isn’t about being the fastest runner.

It’s about showing up, with intention.

Every mile I run is a reminder of why I’m doing this.
