On 26 August 2026, devastating flash floods swept through communities along the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa district, northern Nepal. Overnight, homes were destroyed, vital bridges were washed away, and families were suddenly left with nothing.

As a proud Nepalese living in the UK, watching the devastation unfold in my homeland has been truly heartbreaking. The people affected are my extended community, and seeing families face such immense and sudden loss is something I simply cannot stand by and watch. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, which is why I am stepping up to help.

In solidarity with the people of Nepal, I have partnered with The Gurkha Centre (UK Registered Charity No. 1193430) to launch this emergency appeal.
